A source close to the development has revealed that the film was in talks for a very long time. Hrithik and Siddharth were planning on working on this film even before War was made. The story focuses on the journey of an Air Force pilot and there are scenes that will be shot at a massive scale. The film will be based on strong emotions, relationships, romance and also nationalism.

The film also marks the debut of director Siddharth Anand as a producer.

The source further added that the large scale budget is necessary for the film. The main catch here is no massive budget film was made around the backdrop of Indian Air Force and that is why this project will stand out from the rest. This is the main idea in the actor’s and director’s mind. Deepika Padukone’s character is going to be quite interesting and the character sketch is being kept a secret to surprise the audience.
