Actor Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan Tested Corona Positive

The star of the decade, Amitabh Bachchan and his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan have been found corona positive on Saturday evening. Soon after testing positive, the duo of father and son have been admitted to Nanavati Hospital. 

Amitabh Bachchan announced his health state on Twitter and stated- “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests, results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!” Source: Twitter.

After an hour, Abhishek Bachchan, 44, tweeted- “Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.” Source: Twitter. 

The officials at the Nanavati Hospital said that both the actors came for a preliminary health check-up after witnessing a few symptoms of COVID-19. Continuing this, an official said- “After he tested positive, he was advised admission. He went home and returned for hospitalisation by 10 pm. The hospital informed the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) after his reports came positive,” Source: Indian Express. 

Now, when both (Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan) have been found corona positive, the BMC officials said- “will send a team tomorrow to disinfect their house and look for high-risk contacts.” Source: Indian Express. 

Reports say that both the actors have started to involve in their shooting projects from the last 1-2 weeks. Soon after the confirmation, Bachchan’s family members, in-house staff members, and drivers were tested for COVID-19. 

As of now, only both actors have found positive.
