This is going to be Apple’s third product event in a row on Tuesday, November 10 and this time all eyes are on the new Mac computers. There was an invitation sent out on Monday which was titled as “One More Thing”, and there was no other information revealed in it but is expected to start by 1 PM ET.
The September Apple event was all focused on Apple Watch, iPad and One bundled subscription offering, while the October event was more about the all-new HomePod Mini speaker which will be competing with Google and Amazon’s speakers. Apple also launched new editions of iPhones. All that remains this year is the computers, Apple’s signature product and where the news was that Apple Mac did better business this summer than last year even with the coronavirus pandemic.
In the first half, Apple had announced that it is planning to replace the Intel computer chips that have been used for many years to a chip of their own. Apple had also stated that the chip would see the light of day by the end of the year.
This year has been good for Apple with Mac selling like hot cakes in summer and also have improved their laptop’s battery life.
Tim Cook, the Apple CEO, had earlier announced that Apple will make the Mac more capable and stronger than ever before. He also said that the idea is to use the same chipset in tablets, phones and computers, making it easier for the developers to create apps, Softwares which does not need much adjusting.
The last event was on October 13, where Apple launched two new iPhone editions, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, which is priced at $799 and $999. There is a rumour of two more iPhone editions to be launched on November 13, iPhone 12 Mini for $699 and a bigger version of iPhone 12 Pro Max with 6.9 inches.
