The nation’s pride Athletes Neeraj Chopra and Hima Das have decided to record and share workout videos to inspire kids and stay active even during the lockdown times.
The premier junior athletics talent hunt of (AFI) Athletics Federation of India (NIDJAM) ‘MILO National Inter District Junior Athletics Meet’ and Nestle MILO are supporting this initiative and have named it ‘#MILOHOMEGROUND.’
Under this campaign, several workout videos of prominent athletes will be shared. The athletes involved in the campaign are- Neeraj, Hima, MR Poovama, Mohammad Anas Yahiya, etc.
In this regard, the President of AFI, Adile Sumariwalla, said- “Sports in the life of a growing child is most fundamental. An active lifestyle leads to healthier families, and this kind of lifestyle begins at home. The partnership with Milo is going to help us to spread this message to the country at large,” Source: Republic World.
Further, Director Duty, Nestle India, Vineet Singh, stated- “In more than 50 countries, MILO inspires parents on the importance of sports in helping their kids achieve everyday victories that instil values to help them succeed in life. Reports say the campaign has been directed and supported by ‘Meraki Sport & Entertainment.’ On this, the Co-Founder and Director, Meraki, Namrata Parekh, said- “While MILO-NIDJAM actively engaged over 65K kids across the country last year, our endeavor with MILO-HOMEGROUND, in 2020, will be to significantly increase reach, whilst simultaneously building brand affinity within the primary target group.” Source: Republic World.
