Demi Lovato to Give World Premiere Performance at 2020 Billboard Music Awards

The singer after a weeks split from the ex-fiancé Max Ehrich is now set to perform at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, NBC and dick clark productions announced on October 1. The award function is to go live on October 14 from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. 

While the program has not revealed what exactly she will be serenading spectators with, Demi Lovato did recently released a brand-new single, “Still Have Me,” post her breakup with the American actor Max Ehrich. According to the announcement made on October 1 that she is going to give a world premiere performance indicated to her latest single.

While the American singer won’t be the sole one filling the Music Awards with a new song, on Thursday, there was an announcement that En Vogue and Sia had too joined the roster of performances. Sia is all set with her latest single, “Courage to Chance,” while En Vogue is ready to celebrate and showcase their 30th anniversary with their 1992 track, “Free Your Mind.”

Meantime, Bad Bunny, Alicia Keys, Post Malone, Luke Combs, and BTS have already been announced as performers for the evening. In addition to the star-studded list of acts, Garth Brooks will also be getting the Icon Award this year, and Malone is leading with 16 nods in the nominee pool. Kelly Clarkson is going to be hosting this for the third year in a row. And, to top things off, Kelly Clarkson is hosting Billboard Music Awards for the third year in a line. Given her antiquity as host of the awards, it is expected that music has also been incorporated in her duties as she has done in years prior.
