Despite Pandemic, Bollywood Celebrated ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ In a Unique Way

Bollywood stars and the entire Mumbai, India becomes the center of attraction as soon as ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ arrives. Due to COVID-19 impact, people were not expecting their favorite Bollywood stars to be celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. But their pictures shared on social media changed everyone’s perspective. 

Ganesh Chaturthi, a ten-day celebration, began on Saturday, where people bring the sculpture of Lord Ganesha to their homes and worship them for the next ten days. 

Celebrities like- Amitabh Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Kunal Khemu, Rajkumar Rao, Raveena Tondon, etc. celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi at their premises and shared a few glimpses on their Instagram account. 

Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture of Lord Ganesha and wrote- “गणेश चतुर्थी पे गणेश वंदना ; सुख शांति और समृधि ; परिवार के साथ घर में गणेश आरती का उच्चारण ; हाथ से बने मोदक लड्डू ; एक

Shilpa Shetty used her Instagram account to show her celebrations and preparations for Ganesh Chaturthi. While sharing pictures of her Lord Ganesha, she wrote- “? गणपति बाप्पा मोर्या ?

Bollywood actor Rajkumar Rao encouraged eco-friendly celebrations and made a sculpture of Lord Ganesha using wheat flour and turmeric. He described this creation in the caption and stated- “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi, everyone. Homemade Ganpati with wheat flour and turmeric. It’s such an amazing feeling to make our own Ganpati at home this year.
