Dubai is no less than a shopping and travel paradise for global shopaholics and travelers, respectively. Dubai, also spelled as ‘Dubayy,’ is the wealthiest city amid the seven emirates, which, when collaborated, makes the United Arab Emirates.

After witnessing the declining economy rate and improving COVID-19 circumstances in the city, the officials have announced to reopen Dubai and welcome the global travelers and shopaholics to bring the liveliness of this place back on track.

To announce it, the Dubai Media Office tweeted- “The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) has recognised #Dubai as a safe destination, giving the city a Safe Travels stamp that validates the stringent hygiene and safety protocols that the city has put in place, as it prepares to welcome tourists back on July 7.”

In addition to this, on Saturday, the Dubai Tourism official said that Dubai would be organizing the annual shopping festival ‘The Dubai Summer Surprises’ from July 9. For this time, Dubai will offer exclusive shopping experience to the visitors as the shopping malls will be reopening at full capacity.

Further, Helal Saeed Almarri, the Director General of Dubai Tourism, said that the city is all set to welcome travelers from all around the world. With this, the officials said that visiting Dubai won’t be the same as earlier. There is a set of guidelines and hygiene protocols to be maintained at all costs.

Some of the guidelines are-

  1. The travelers will have to declare that they agree to bear the cost of COVID-19 treatment and isolation if required.
  2. The travelers must carry travel insurance covering COVID-19.
  3. Travelers are supposed to undergo a PCR test 96 hours before the flight. This applies to everyone, including- children.
  4. The travelers will be allowed to leave the hotel once the corona test comes negative.
