‘Govt enrollments to proceed’: Finance Ministry explains request restricting the production of new posts

The Ministry of Finance on Saturday explained there is no limitation or restriction on topping off of posts in the Government of India, a day after it gave a request forbidding the production of new posts in focal services, to ease pressure on government assets because of the current financial circumstance.

Specific enrollment measures have to be followed.

In another roundabout today, the service said specific enrollment measures through different government organizations would keep, including that Friday’s round just arrangements with an inward method for forming posts.

“There is no limitation or restriction on topping off of posts in the Government of India. Typical enrollment through government organizations like Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), and so forth will proceed as common with no controls”, the Finance Ministry said today.

Meetings of Branch of Expenditure

“Branch of Expenditure (DoE) roundabout dated 04 September 2020 arrangements with an inner system for production of posts and doesn’t in any capacity influence or shorten enlistment”, it further said. The round given by the DoE on Friday had rattled off authoritative use measures and restrictions on the formation of posts, in an offer to secure and protect needed use.
