“If I Am Disqualified, My Role in Politics is Over,” Says Sachin Pilot

After an internal conflict between the political leaders of Congress party, the ruling authorities of the party have decided to eliminate Sachin Pilot’s name from the members of the legislature. Reports say that the decision has been taken after witnessing Pilot’s anti-party actions like- ignoring the Congress party’s orders to attend a meeting chaired by Ashok Gehlot. 

Now the matter has been taken to the Supreme Court, and the court hears his case is against his own party. To this, close sources said that Sachin Pilot says- “If I am disqualified, my role in politics is over.” Source: NDTV. 

Today, the top court is expected to intervene to stop Sachin Pilot from being disqualified as an MLA in Rajasthan. Along with this, the court will be taking action on his being disqualified from 18 other legislators, who have cornered him after his conflicts with the Congress party. 

Mr. Pilot has been reported to have said that- “If I win the court battle, I will continue to fight for my rights within Congress,” Source: NDTV. 

Those who are close to Sachin Pilot said that he had been reiterating a claim stating he (Sachin) would join the BJP party now. To this, Sachin said- “Why would I want to bring down the Congress government, when the idea is to change the leadership (in Rajasthan)”, Source: NDTV. 

Taking on this matter, Mr. Pilot vented to close sources and said- “Gehlot abuses me but is not reprimanded by the high command,” Source: NDTV. 

Recently, Mr. Gehlot invited 100+ MLAs to a hotel near Jaipur for yoga sessions, cooking classes, and watching movies. While all this, Gehlot described his former deputy as “nikkamma” (worthless) and commented, “an innocent face that disguised deep betrayal.” Source: NDTV.
