Last night it was all high-five for the Mumbai Indians. In Dubai, it was an intense match between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals, which MI won by 5 wickets. 

It is heard that Rohit Sharma is suffering from a hamstring injury and there has been contemplation about him joining the impending tour to Australia, but after yesterday’s performance, he passed with flying colors with the one-sided finals in Dubai. 

Mumbai Indians won the IPL 2020 in style by crushing over Delhi Capitals on Tuesday. DC was able to score 156/7 in 20 overs, and Rohit Sharma was on fire last night top-scorer with 68 runs as Mumbai Indians won with 5 wickets and 1.2 overs were still left.

Many former cricketers, as well as celebrities, expressed their cheers through social media, especially congratulating Rohit Sharma, for their outstanding win. Hashtags like #OneFamily #Hitman and #MIWin started trending on Twitter post Mumbai Indians won the match by 5 wickets.

Virender Sehwag wrote on his feed that this is by far the best team in the world and with the best captain. Deserving team and also thanked the IPL team for organizing this tournament even during the coronavirus pandemic.

Sachin Tendulkar posted a boomerang on Instagram to express his joy for his former team MI.

Mumbai Indians posted a picture of Rohit Sharma and stated that their captain is their pride. 

Michael Vaughan, English cricket commentator and former cricketer said that without a doubt Rohit Sharma should be made the captain of the Indian Cricket Team. He also said that he is a fantastic player, manager as well as a leader. He also suggested Virat take a breather and just be a player.

Suresh Raina also congratulated the team and said under great leadership of Rohit Sharma it is doing wonders and also appreciated DC’s efforts.
