According to recent media reports, the Revolutionary Guards of Iran have conducted a surgical strike in Pakistan to free two of its guards from the clutches of Terrorists. The Baloch Terrorists have kidnapped the guards and the Revolutionary force has conducted a surgical strike in the deeper parts of Pakistan to free their men. IRGC has released a statement confirming that the news about the strike was indeed true. They said that the ‘successful operation’ happened on Tuesday night.

The history of this case goes back to 2018 when 12 Iranian guards were kidnapped by the Pakistan-based extremist group, Jaish -Al Adl. This is an Iranian Sunni group that has established its base in Pakistan. The kidnap happened at the Mirjaveh border point in the southeastern parts of Iran. The kidnapped were later transferred to Pakistan. The IRGC was successful in rescuing 5 men in the same year, 2018. Two more of those men were rescued in the surgical strike conducted on Tuesday.

"A successful operation was carried out last Tuesday night to rescue two kidnapped border guards who were taken as hostages by Jaish ul-Adl organization two and a half years ago," - read the official statement that was released by the IRGC.

The Military officials reportedly formed a joint committee between Tehran and the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad. Five of the Iranian soldiers were rescued by the Iranian IRGC during that time. Four more soldiers were rescued by the Pakistan Army in March month of 2019.

Jaish Ul - Adl, which translates to Army of Justice has been declared as a terrorist organization by the Iran government. However, the group strongly states that all its activity is focused on restoring the rights of Baloch Sunnis in the Iran region. Though Iran has captured and executed some of the prominent leaders of the group, the terrorist activity has not reduced.

This has led to the criticism of the Pakistan Army and authorities because of their weak border laws and police control to subdue the entry of these terrorist groups into the inner territories of the country. Accusations have been rife that the nation does nothing to cut down the terrorist camps residing in their region.
