After Donald Trump’s controversial immigration policies, the New President of America announced an 8-year Citizenship path for roughly 11 million immigrants living in the US without legal status. This move comes right after Joe Biden has taken responsibility as the President of the United States. He plans to implement the new immigration bill and brought up the idea on the first day of his administration.

Joe Biden has made certain promises during his campaigning and this happens to be one of the key pointers that he spoke about during his addresses. He assured the Latino and other communities that he would be looking into the restrictive immigration policies. The four years of Donald Trump’s controversial policies and mass deportations have left the other communities very impatient and the New Presidential elect promised to change the factors of the policies. Seems like he has already begun taking steps to fulfill the word that he has given to the people.

However, Congress might show varied opinions over the consideration of this new development as the Republicans will see this as a major threat to National Security. This provides a very swift route to get citizenship for all those people who have been living in the country without any legal status for the past few years.

The discussions and sessions to talk about the bill and bring up the papers will take place shortly after Joe Biden’s Oath on Wednesday. The inner sources reveal that the bill will most probably include hundreds of papers and the New President is very keen on changing on the restrictions and policies that the previous President has pulled up. In Joe Biden’s opinion, the policies implemented so far with respect to the immigrants have been ‘unrelenting assaults’ and go against American Values and Morals. He is planning on undoing the damage that has already been inflicted on the Immigrant communities.

The concern for border security still remains but Joe Biden is quite confident that he will be able to find a way to provide citizenship to the immigrants without compromising on the border security of the country.
