Shah Rukh Khan Turns 55; Says will Have a Bigger Party Next Year

Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday is an annual ritual for his fans, and many gather around his bungalow in Bandra called Mannat to have a glimpse on November 2nd.

This year it is different, and the Bollywood superstar who is called King Khan thanked all his fans on social media for good wishes and love. Also promised that next year there would be a better and promising birthday celebration for sure.

It has always been observed that the lane in front of his house is choked with fans to have a glimpse of him on his birthday. And he always comes seeing his admirers waiting for him, also blows kisses, waves and does his signature arms stretched pose.

But due to the coronavirus pandemic this year no celebrations and roads were barricaded as well. 

The Bollywood superstar posted a video on Twitter saying he was very much touched by the things his fan clubs were doing on his birthday, from blood donation drive to distribution of PPE kits (Personal Protective Equipment).

He said in his own witty style that he was pleased to see his fans doing such great work when it is needed the most for the poor and needy. He said 56 is a better number than 55, so will celebrate it together with the fans and send a lot of hugs from Dubai where he is supporting his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders.

There were many live streaming on Twitter by his fan clubs to celebrate his birthday with a cake. The Shah Rukh Khan Universe Fan Club has around 4 lakh followers, went live on Twitter along with composer-singer Amaal Malik performing for the fans.

Many fans, around the world from New York, London, Malaysia etc. joined a Twitter live session to wish and cut cakes.
