The most awaited Apple event scheduled on Sept. 15 might not have a new iPhone, said, analysts.

The Apple event is the most awaited event of every year which usually happens the week post-Labor Day and this year is not going to be any different. 15th September is announced for this year, but 2020 has been a challenging year for all and the invitation for this year is a little vague saying “Time Flies” which makes it cryptic if there are going to be any new launches to show off at their end.

The Wedbush Securities analyst, Daniel Ives says after reading the title on the invitation that this time there will be no new iPhones only new editions of Apple Watch and iPad.  Earlier this was announced that Apple would be introducing four new iPhone models this 2020, but now it seems like this won’t happen before mid-October or last week of September. Apple has been giving some indication in recent earnings due to the coronavirus there has been chaos with manufacturing deadlines.

Due to the delay in the manufacturing and start for the new iPhones Ives thinks there will be a delay in the launch for the world to experience the new Apple phone.

Though Apple is all excited and ready to air their event from the Apple Park, the corporate campus in Cupertino, California, and it can be viewed online at apple.com starting at 1 p.m. ET.

Google and Samsung lately launched new phones with new editions of the Pixel and Note. Apple indicated in June that the introduction of iOS14, a new mobile operating system that will predate the initiation of the new phones. There was also news of a new operating system for Mac computers in 2020 with the title “Big Sur”.

Even in a pandemic, Apple has managed to smash quarter for its current earnings, selling $26.4 billion worth of iPhones, up from $25.9 billion in the year-earlier quarter.
