The Indian government has been ensuring a set amount of relaxation for the people throughout the nation via the unlock phase. As a necessary part of controlling the public’s movement, unlock-3 guidelines have been released, ensuring relaxation for people.

In the unlock-3 phase, gyms and yoga centres will be allowed to be operational from August 5. However, the other lockdown restrictions will continue, especially in the containment zones until August 31.

The new guidelines have been announced ahead of the unlock-2 expiry date so that the public and gym or yoga centers can make necessary arrangements. While yoga institutes and gyms will have the authority to start operations, on the other hand, coaching centers, schools and colleges will still have to wait till August 31.

Apart from this, international air travel will also remain on hold till August 31, at least. However, mission Vande Bharat Flights will continue to fly.

Cinema halls, bars, assembly halls, and swimming pools will have to wait for unlock-4 to start operations.

With the new unlock phase, people will be able to relish late-night walks and dine at their favorite restaurants. As restaurants and hotels get the liberty to serve meals to their customers once again, serving liquor will still be prohibited.

The government has lifted the night curfew after receiving a lot of complaints from the restaurant owners stating it has affected their dinner-time business heavily.

During the unlock-3 phase, the nation will be celebrating its 73rd Independence Day on August 15. Keeping the importance of the occasion in mind, the home ministry of India has permitted to organize 1-day functions and ‘at-home’ functions while maintaining proper social distancing.

With releasing the new guidelines, the ruling government has urged the people to continue following the health and hygiene guidelines of COVID-19.
